CFAS Offers Many Services to the Community!

When you call 911 from the hours of 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM on weekdays and all weekend long, the Cranford First Aid Squad provides free care and transport. Our Emergency Medical Technicians go through the same rigorous state EMT training that all EMT's must attend. Every member, regardless of EMT status, possesses a valid Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Professional. In addition, our drivers are CEVO certified and many of our members possess other various certifications such as RN and Paramedic. Our highly trained volunteers dedicate their time to provide Cranford residents FREE BLS emergency care.

Free 911 Emergency Response

 

 

We offer various community training programs in the fields of health and medicine. We offer free community CPR classes and also offer more advanced Basic Life Support Classes. We also offer classes in First Aid. In addition, we offer awareness classes of various types ranging from heart and stroke awareness to more advanced emergency care classes. For more information about our classes, below is the calendar of all our activities so please check regularly because is updated weekly.

Community Awareness and Training

 

 

As an ASHI Training Center CFAS Instructors provide CPR, AED, and first aid training programs for the community. Our courses are also backed by the industry’s most comprehensive customer service, technical support, and instructional resources. In the Calendar below you will be able to find more information about when classes are imparted.

 

 

We offer 911 awareness programs for children, boy scouts and girl scouts as well as provide Readyman training for Boyscouts. If you have a boyscout/girlscout/school class that is interested in a tour of the building and 911 emergency awareness session please contact the training officer or the captain.

  • Crutches

  • Toilet seats

  • Walkers

  • Canes

are all available completely free for any residents. Anyone interested in borrowing equipment please stop by the building at 6 Centennial Ave between 6:30PM and 5:30 AM MON-FRI and anytime on the weekend.

Holding a public event in Cranford? We offer free standby services to organizations that are holding outdoor events such as marathons, walks, and gatherings.
